    Powder Coat Mags & rims

Powder Coating™ is an advancement in powder coating technology. This new proprietary process is a combination of Eco-friendly clean pretreatment, enhanced application methods, and Pulse Power technology. Being in the Chrome Plating business has taught us that wheel finishing is more than just a process it is an art form. Various methods and special techniques are required to produce a finish that resembles jewelry. Traditional powder coating is more of an industrial protective coating than a decorative finish.

Powder coating is a type of paint coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The main difference between a conventional liquid paint and a powder coating is that the powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. This fast emerging technology is beneficial to all automotive enthusiasts. Ozzy Tyres bring to you this new form of painting so you can easily make your car stand out! Forget about Plastidip, make sure your colours don’t fade by powder coating!
It is non-porous. Even paint and lacquers allow a small amount of moisture to get through them with time, passing through to the aluminium and starting to corrode it from the inside. Powder coated wheels do not suffer from the ‘bubbling’ that other finishes finally succumb to.
It is durable. Powder coating is a thicker, more hard wearing surface treatment, that can last as long as three times that of normal paints and lacquered surfaces.
Consistent covering. Because it is an electrostatic process, the powder coating mix it attracted to the surface in an even layer. Giving a consistent finish when baked. There is also no risk of drips and runs forming.
Quicker process. With the wheel prepped, the actual application and curing time is much lower than traditional painting and lacquering as there is only the application of the mix and curing operations to carry out.
Multiple materials. The powder coating technique can be applied to several different wheel materials including steel and stainless steel, as well as aluminium alloy.

Our professional staff at Wrapgodsauto have been trained to perform custom powder coating for your wheels. We can mix up any colour to suit your car, so its all up to your imagination. Stand out from the rest and get your wheels powder coated today!
